Bonsai Basics

A brief history of bonsai, and its introduction to the U.S. will be provided.  Styles of trees, art and horticultural considerations, and pottery will also be discussed.   Tools and techniques used in planting a bonsai will be demonstrated.

House Plants: Sweet and Simple

Even if you don't have a "green thumb" or gardening outdoor gardening is not possible, this presentation will explain how you can enjoy foliage and flowers 12 months a year by cultivating house plants.  We'll talk about what houseplants need to make them happy; it's easier than you might think.
