Georgia Perimeter College Fall Series and Plant Sales

2012 Fall Lunch and Wildflower Series and Plant Sales

Our 2012 Fall Lunch and Wildflower Series and Fall Plant Sales continue this Friday, September 21, with Arty Schronce, who will talk on “Planting for Autumn Beauty” or "How fall can be the most rewarding and beautiful time of the gardening year". Come and learn what native plants you can use in your landscape to enhance it's beauty.

The following Friday, September 28, we welcome Jamie Blackburn, who will speak on "Underutilized Native Trees”. Learn about those native trees we often forget to add to the landscape. Don't forget that our talks are on Fridays and will be in room SB-1140. Signs will be posted at the garden to assist you getting to the talk. In addition to the talks, we will also have walks starting at 11:00

Come early to enjoy the garden. Remember to see our new Sun Garden beds and our large raised bed; one of the highlights of the garden. The Granite Outcrop, which is now part of the sun beds, is almost covered with Stone Mountain daisies and should be in bloom. The Fern Gardens are displaying some of the largest ferns we have ever seen here in the garden. Links to our website are provided below.
